What started off as a lifestyle blog about well, many things, has slowly evolved into something new. Acorn & Oak was always about inspiring others to grow, and we still aim to do that but with a slight twist. After taking a step back to regroup, we have found that Acorn & Oak needs to focus on an aspect our life that we are passionate about.

Ranching and homesteading have always been a part of who I am and how I want to live my life. My connection with nature is rooted in my past, and my love for the land, the animals, and all the natural beauty God has given us beats deep within me. Living a life that is grounded in natural living, stewarding the land and animals, and cherishing the natural resources God has entrusted to us is my most true self. I want to share that with others and that it inspire those seeking to live that same beauty.
A JAR WITH A DREAM
We believe in the importance of nourishing our bodies with the gifts nature has to offer. What started as making tallow balm in my kitchen to provide my family the most nourishing lotion nature could provide soon grew into something more. God's whispers helped me see there's many others out there that also dream of a lifestyle rooted in nature, but find the heavy price tag makes it less obtainable. After much prayer, here we are bringing you tallow balm that's made with quality ingredients and lots of love with the hopes of making some dreams a reality, one little jar of tallow at a time.

The profound meaning and significance of the oak tree is one that has always held a special place in my heart. The oak tree starts off small as an acorn, through time that small seed overcomes countless trails and hardships to grow into the mighty and majestic oak. It’s symbolism of wisdom, strength, and endurance is a reminder that we are each capable of growing into something much bigger than we ever imagined.
